Talent is critical to the success of the region’s advanced-mobility transformation. The GEM Talent Transformation team supports the evolving needs of businesses to attract and retain a robust workforce. To help meet these needs we’ve created the Mobility Talent Resource Network. This innovative pilot program brings together Talent Service Providers with Business Awardees to impact their trajectory in the advanced-mobility space.

HR Consulting
  • Compliance Reviews:
    Conduct thorough analyses of existing HR policies against the applicable federal, state, and local regulations to identify and rectify compliance discrepancies. Recommendations for corrective actions shall be provided to ensure full legal compliance.
  • Employee Handbooks:
    Collaborate with Human Resources teams to draft, review, and periodically update the Employee Handbooks ensuring they encapsulate essential organizational policies, procedures, and core values.
  • Performance Management Systems:
    Design and implement comprehensive performance evaluation systems that support objective assessments, facilitate employee development, and streamline succession planning processes.
  • Compensation Structures:
    Develop equitable compensation frameworks based on thorough job evaluations, market salary benchmarking, and pay equity audits to ensure the organization’s compensation practices remain competitive and fair.

  • Organizational Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ) Assessments:
    Perform comprehensive assessments to ascertain the organization’s current DEIJ posture, employing tools such as employee surveys, focus groups, and policy analysis.
  • Strategic DEIJ Planning:
    Assist in crafting actionable DEIJ strategic plans that are aligned with the organization’s overarching goals, incorporating milestone setting, resource allocation, and execution frameworks.
  • Workshops and Training:
    Facilitate interactive workshops and training sessions on DEIJ tailored to the organizational context, including modules on implicit bias and cultural competency.
  • Inclusive Hiring Practices:
    Provide strategic advisement on recruitment strategies aimed at attracting a diverse pool of candidates, mitigating bias in hiring processes, and bolstering the retention of underrepresented groups.
  • Policy and Practice Review:
    Evaluate current organizational policies and practices for their impact on DEIJ, identifying improvement areas and recommending modifications to cultivate an inclusive culture.
  • Gap Analysis:
    Identify and address discrepancies between existing DEIJ efforts and the desired organizational outcomes, focusing on areas that necessitate targeted interventions.
  • Benchmarking:
    Conduct benchmarking exercises to compare the organization’s DEIJ practices with industry standards, identifying areas of competitive advantage and best practices adoption.
  • Progress Monitoring:
    Establish and implement metrics and indicators for the continuous evaluation of DEIJ initiatives, facilitating regular progress reports and necessary strategy adjustments.

  • Portal Design and Launch:
    Develop and launch a user-centric online career portal that mirrors the organization’s brand identity and simplifies job search and application processes for prospective candidates.
  • Job Posting and Application Tracking:
    Implement efficient systems for job postings, application management, and candidate tracking throughout the hiring process, enhancing the recruitment workflow.
  • HR Staff and Applicant Support:
    Provide continuous support and training for HR personnel to ensure optimal functionality of the career portal, alongside offering assistance to applicants experiencing difficulties.
  • Talent Intelligence:
    Provide AI insights and automation from enterprise data, market data, and user interactions to give a dynamic understanding of talent across all stages of the life cycle, to drive retention, guide skills development, and promote from within.

TALENT SERVICE PROVIDERS

A Talent Service Provider is an approved vendor who will offer services to Business Awardees in the six service categories. The GEM Team will create matchmaking opportunities for Provider-to-Business Awardee services funded by the GEM Mobility Talent Resource Network.

BUSINESS AWARDEES

A Business Awardee is an approved mobility business that will be the recipient of services in the above-named categories. The GEM Team will create matchmaking opportunities for Provider-to-Awardee services that will be funded by the GEM Mobility Talent Resource Network. The cost of services is paid directly to the Talent Service Provider.
