HOW WE HELP

Mobility innovators like you require testing and services such as controlled test environments to conduct evaluations prior to deploying your technologies in real-world conditions. We can help you gain access to Michigan’s robust testing infrastructure and provide support to help you achieve your sustainable futures, equitable futures, and multimodal transportation goals and bring your product to market.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Support for testing and proving in controlled and/or simulated environments
Outreach to mobility companies regarding test site capabilities and service offerings
Direct matchmaking for companies with testing needs with relevant test environment and solutions
Guidance regarding OFME’s Michigan Mobility Funding Platform (MMFP) and other possible resources available for potential test site users
Support for GEM regional test site improvements and increased access to state-of-the-art testing technology

Getting started

GEM region test sites have facilities to accommodate testing for early stage start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. For assistance, please contact the GEM Testing & Proving team via gemtesting@michigan.org. Please include a detailed description of the project and testing needs.

In some cases, grant funding may be available to support projects at one of the Southeast Michigan-based test sites via the Michigan Mobility Funding Platform (MMFP).
